Arrival – Bentota
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet and greet by our representative. Transfer to the west coast beach town of Bentota (approximately 2 hours). Evening at leisure by the beach to relax and unwind after your journey.
Bentota
Day at leisure to relax on the beautiful golden beaches or enjoy optional water activities such as jet skiing, banana boat rides, or windsurfing. Optional river safari on the Madu River through mangrove forests, or visit to a turtle hatchery to learn about conservation efforts. Overnight in Bentota.
Bentota – Galle – Weligama
Travel along the scenic southern coastline. Visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring Dutch colonial architecture, charming cafes, boutique shops, and stunning ramparts with ocean views. Continue to Weligama or Mirissa for overnight stay by the beach.
Weligama / Mirissa
Free day to enjoy the beach and soak up the tropical sun. Optional whale watching tour in Mirissa (seasonal, November-April) to spot blue whales, sperm whales, and dolphins. Optional surfing session in Weligama, known for its beginner-friendly waves. Snorkeling with turtles. Evening at leisure.
Weligama – Udawalawe Area
Depart the coast and travel inland toward the wildlife region near Udawalawe National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Journey through scenic countryside and local villages. Evening at leisure near the park, surrounded by nature.
Udawalawe Safari – South Coast
Early morning jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park, famous for large elephant herds roaming freely in their natural habitat. Also spot water buffalo, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. After the safari, return to the southern coast beach area. Afternoon at leisure by the beach. Overnight by the beach.
Southern Coast – Colombo
Morning at leisure to enjoy your final beach moments. Later transfer to Colombo (approximately 2-3 hours) along the coastal road. Evening city highlights tour covering Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, vibrant markets, and seaside walk along Galle Face Green. Overnight in Colombo.
Colombo – Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure, concluding the tour. Depart with wonderful memories of Sri Lanka's beaches, heritage, and natural beauty.
